It is the day before Dexter’s wedding, and after the police find Miguel’s dead body, Dexter has two people targeting him. Now, he must deal with them both, while preparing for his special occasion. Meanwhile, Angel tells Deb he’s put her in for a promotion, but after he finds out some information her shield may be gone before she gets it.
Dexter’s focus shifts to calming his emotionally unstable brother, Ramon, now that Miguel out of the picture. Now tha Ramon has calmed down, Dexter feels he can breathe once again. All that is left now is his upcoming marriage to Rita, until another deadly surprise shows it’s ugly head. Meanwhile, Batista informs Debra that she is going to received her Detective’s shield, but is instantly blindsided when she receives information which may end her promotion.
